At the heart of the ART Network’s mission is the acceleration of translational research. By fostering an environment that supports the progression of research from lab to marketplace, we help institutions build and refine the skills, processes, and infrastructure needed to bring innovations to life. We champion research with the potential to solve pressing issues, whether in health, technology, environmental sustainability, or social impact, working to ensure that academic breakthroughs do not remain confined within academic walls.
The ART Network actively supports institutions in creating pathways to facilitate translational search by linking university-based knowledge and expertise to generate and support the production, use and impact production of high-quality research to increase American economic competitiveness and societal advancement. By promoting access to resources, mentorship, and partnerships with government, non-profits, and industry, we help to streamline the transfer of knowledge from universities to external stakeholders.
We recognize that innovation thrives in interconnected ecosystems. The ART Network fosters collaboration between academic institutions, regional businesses, community leaders, and policymakers to create strong, mutually beneficial partnerships that drive regional economic growth and technological advancement. By supporting institutions in their roles as active members of regional innovation ecosystems, we encourage the spread of knowledge, resources, and economic benefits within local communities.
