ABSTRACT

This project focuses on developing a wearable sensor suit integrating posture tracking through Inertial Measurement Units and load tracking using insole pressure sensors to monitor and predict low-back loading during manual material handling tasks. The system provides real-time ergonomic feedback and insights to workers, and generate safety reports to business stakeholders with an aim to reduce prevalence and cost of workplace injury risks and improve worker safety.
