The U.S. PFAS analytical instrumentation market is projected to grow from $75M in 2021 to over $350M by 2028, driven by regulatory actions and increasing contamination awareness. Current lab-based PFAS testing is costly and slow, necessitating a portable, high-sensitivity electrochemical sensor. We propose ESSENCE, an integrated electrochemical sensor platform for rapid, in-situ PFAS detection using PFAS-specific probes and AI-driven data analysis. The initial target market includes municipal water treatment plants, enabling robust chip development for future field applications
