ABSTRACT

To eliminate emerging contaminants such as PFAS, microplastics, pharmaceuticals, and pathogens require robust and energy-saving methods. The synergy of nanobubble technology with ultrasound is emerging as an optimal solution, bolstering the destruction capabilities of ultrasound while simultaneously reducing energy consumption. This approach requires significantly less energy and fewer resources, making it an ideal solution for addressing these contemporary environmental challenges. Laboratory results with batch tests show significant improvement in destruction efficiency with Argon nanobubbles and ultrasound in batch apparatus.
