The University of Delaware is advancing innovation and entrepreneurship through the establishment of the Neil Book School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, further strengthening UD’s commitment to preparing students to lead in startups, industry, and social ventures. Building on the nationally recognized work of Horn Entrepreneurship, the new school will expand interdisciplinary opportunities, experiential learning, and venture support programs that empower students and researchers to translate ideas into real-world impact. The initiative is led by Horn Entrepreneurship Founding Director Dan Freeman, who also serves as a Co-PI on UD’s NSF Accelerating Research Translation (ART) award, helping to strengthen innovation and commercialization efforts across the university and Delaware’s broader innovation ecosystem.
