Recently we developed a fast detection of PFAS by paper spray (PS)-based MS techniques, which only takes 1-3 min for detection PFAS from a variety of different samples (water samples, soils, food packaging materials, etc.) In addition, our method is highly sensitive (limits of detection:1-4 ppt for per-flurooctanoic acid (PFOA) and per-flurosulphonic acid (PFOS)). This project is to further optimize and improve the technology for real world PFAS analysis applications.
