Abstract
This project addresses critical gaps in climate resilience planning for low-capacity communities, which often lack access to data, tools and technical expertise needed to mitigate risk. It introduces a scalable solution that builds on Clemson’s prior work by integrating advanced geospatial analysis, community engagement strategies, and collaboration across South Carolina agencies and academic institutions. Central to the approach is an Engagement Hub that facilitates data sharing, infrastructure risk assessment and targeted support. This platform enables stakeholders to identify vulnerabilities, develop action plans and improve preparedness and community resilience.
